WCOOP NEWS Day 15: 6-Max To The Max
September 18, 2021

Thursday, September 17th, at the PokerStars World Championship Of Online Poker seems to have been designated 6-max day, with both of the day's event's featuring that particular action stimulating, short-table setup.

Whether that was the plan-or merely just a coincidence- it seems to have paid off big for PokerStars, as each event easily eclipsed its posted guarantee by more than $300,000.

Both events, the No-Limit Hold 'em w/rebuys and the Pot-Limit Omaha, once again attracted numerous well known pros and event #37 even saw many of those pros go deep including Chris Moneymaker (40th), Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier (19th), Matt "plattsburgh" Vengrin (4th) and Brazil's Felipe "mojave14" Ramos, who scored second place in the event, seemingly as a direct response to WCOOP Radio host Scott Huff, who in a recent broadcast pretty much directly challenged his entire country, to step it up a little and earn some bigger cashes.
