Busquet Wins Borgata
September 25, 2021

Online monster Olivier "Livb112" Busquet, secured his first major live tournament win yesterday, when he successfully took down the World Poker Tour Borgata Poker Open.

The win for Busquet, who entered the WPT final table as the dominant chip leader, ended up not being quite the slam-dunk many believed it would be.  After a series of big hands, Olivier actually found himself potentially in some real trouble and at one point as low as fourth place out of the four remaining players.

Perhaps summoning some of his legendary online poker mojo, Busquet was eventually able to fight back, and ultimately secured his title as well as the lion's share of the cash, thanks in large part to some outstanding heads-up play against runner-up Jeremy Brown.

For outlasting the entire impressive 1,018 person starting field, Busquet claimed a top prize worth $925,514

The final table finish positions for the $3,500 buy-in WPT Borgata Poker Open were as follows:

1st.  Olivier Busquet- $925,514

2nd.  Jeremy Brown- $453,519

3rd.  Ivan Mamuzic- $251,955

4th.  Yanick Brodeur- $216,681

5th.  Keith Crowder- $188,126

6th.  Kenny Nguyen- $156,212
