American Matt Glantz, a poker pro with more than $2,000,000 in lifetime tournament winnings, earned one of the most prestigious titles of his career yesterday when he took down the 2009 European Poker Tour London High Rollers Event.

By outlasting 75 elite pros including Joe Hachem, Sorel Mizzi, Juha Helppi, Tom "durrrr" Dwan, Vanessa Rousso, Phil Ivey, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier and Barry Greenstein; as well as a final table that held Dennis Phillips, Ilari "Ziigmund" Sahamies and Eugene Katchalov, Matt Glantz earned a top prize worth ?542,000, or close to $870,000 USD.

The final table finish positions for the 2009 EPT London High Rollers event were as follows:

1st.  Matt Glantz- ?542,000

2nd.  Erik Cajelais- ?326,000

3rd.  Eugene Katchalov- ?193,000

4th.  Adolfo Vaeza- ?141,000

5th.  Leo Fernandez- ?104,000

6th.  Ilari Sahamies- ?74,000

7th.  Dennis Phillips- ?60,000

8th.  Shane Reihill- ?45,000
