Day 1B And Aruba's Numbers Are In
October 7, 2021

The second starting day of this year's UltimateBet Aruba Poker Classic attracted 281 players, besting yesterday's starting field by nearly 100 entrants.

In total 475 players opted to play in this year's $5,500 buy-in live No-limit hold 'em event, enough to create a total prize pool worth $2,303,750 and a first prize worth $753,330.

A bevy of PokerRoaders opted to play yesterday's Day 1b, including Gavin Smith, Jeff Madsen, Annie Duke, Erica Schoenberg, Bryan Devonshire and Joe Sebok, however by the end of the day only Smith and "Devo" remained to carry our green and white flag.

Other players to be found competing yesterday included Will "The Thrill" Failla, Liv Boeree, Jean-Robert Bellande and The Amazing Race's Tiffany Michelle.

By the end of the troublesome day, the Aruba Poker Classic had lost well over 100 more players to the hungry rail, leaving only 263 players- in total from the two starting days- with the option of continuing on towards the three-quarters of a million dollar top grand prize.
