Quick Day 3 Ends With 36 In Aruba
October 9, 2021

The metaphorical onion that is the UltimateBet Aruba Poker Classic field, continued to shed layers yesterday, getting closer and closer to a small, tight (somewhat smelly) core, while leaving many with nothing more than unwanted tears.

Day 3 of the Classic quickly shed another 50 players from our so called onion including Phil Hellmuth, Tim "tmay420" West, Scott Ian and PokerRoad Radio's Gavin Smith, all of whom left the tables before the 45 person money bubble could pop.

The fast paced tournament day ended well within the money with 36 players left and will continue on today with short 6-person tables- stimulating the Aruba action even further.  Some of the pros still in it to win it include last year's champion Matt Brady, Brock Parker, Eric "basebaldy" Baldwin and Robert Mizrachi, who extended his chip lead even farther during the short day and now crushes the remaining field with 743,500 in tournament chips- nearly one for every dollar in the $753,330 top prize.
