APPT Auckland Day 2: What Can Brown Do To You
October 16, 2021

Day 2 of the PokerStars Asia Pacific Poker Tour Auckland main event reconvened yesterday with 130 potential champions returning for their shot at poker glory.

Among that group when the day began, sat many well known pros including Tony Hachem, Grant Levy, Eric Assadourian and last year's Auckland champion Daniel Craker.

Remarkably, Craker finished the tough day with healthy chips as well and now has a real shot at repeating as champion, with only 31 other players between him and this year's top prize worth NZD $209,085.

Of course to repeat he must first somehow get past the current chip leader Jason Brown, who seemed wholly unstoppable during Day two's play and appears to eat Crakers like Daniel for breakfast.  Brown finished the day with over 630,000 in tournament chips, way above the average and over a half million more than Craker.

With players already in the money at the start of today's play, Day 3 of the APPT Auckland main event should just get more and more interesting.  To learn more visit APPT.com or the PokerStars blog (www.pokerstarsblog.com).
