Costa Rica Settles With The US

In the recent World Trade Organization case between Antigua and Barbuda against the US concerning access to online-gambling markets, Costa Rica was listed as "an affected party" along with quite a few others. Now that the case has been settled, to the tune of $21 million annually for Antigua, attentions have naturally turned to what will happen to the other affected parties listed in the suit. In regards to Costa Rica anyway, that question has been answered. According to numerous sources, Costa Rica has settled their case against the US for certain WTO markets and opportunities previously unavailable to them. Some of the new opportunities are apparently in the sectors of research and development, postal and courier services, testing and technical analysis, and warehousing.
