The Cereus Poker Network, home to UltimateBet and Absolute Poker, thanks to a recent software upgrade, now has the ability to synchronize the breaks of all their multi-table tournaments to match up with the other major online poker sites, according to a recent press release.

The breaks will now all come at 55 minutes past the hour, the same as on the two industry leaders PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker, allowing players who play numerous events on multiple sites at once, to actually have an opportunity to take advantage of the breaks if need be.

This small but significant change, if it has a similar effect to when the other sites began their break synchronization earlier in the year, should not only please their existing customer base, but encourage future ones to consider joining as well.
