Brit Buddies Bring Home The Best Bits Of Baltic Festival Booty
November 2, 2021

Two friends from the United Kingdom claimed first and second place at the PokerStars Baltic Festival over the weekend, each earning enough to make their sojourns to Estonia's Capital City of Tallinn, well worth their while.

The winner of the EUR1,100 main event- which ended up as the largest poker tournament ever held in the Baltic states- was Thomas Partridge, who earned  EUR76,750 (or about $114,000 USD) and a free entry into the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure, for outlasting the 306 other players that entered this first of its kind festival.

The second largest prize- worth EUR48,505- went to his comrade James Keys, after Partridge vanquished him during heads-up play despite entering the final stage of the tournament with a two-to-one chip deficit.
