World Poker Finals Start Tomorrow In Foxwoods
November 4, 2021

The World Poker Tour continues their 2009/2010 season tomorrow (11/5) with one of their most popular East Coast events of the schedule, the Foxwoods World Poker Finals.

This $10,000 buy-in ($9,700 + $300), No-Limit Hold 'em tournament, traditionally attracts both large fields and well known players, many of whom have a nice little habit of actually taking the event down.

Past winners of the World Poker Finals include, Nenad Medic, Nick Schulman, Howard Lederer Hoyt Corkins and Jonathan "FieryJustice" Little, who last year bested 412 players to win both the $1,120,310 top prize and his second major WPT title (out of 4 WPT final table appearances).

Tomorrow's event will start players off with 30,000 in tournament chips and will feature 90 minute blind levels, giving skilled players like Little a lot of play for their 10K investments.  The tournament will run throughout the weekend, with a final table currently set for Tuesday November 10th- just a day after the poker world meets their new World Series of Poker Main Event champion.
