Effectively ending all the speculation concerning the upcoming High Stakes Poker season, GSN released a statement today not only clearing up the matter of Gabe Kaplan's new co-host, but also which players will be competing as well.

Season 6 of the popular high roller poker cash game will apparently feature the very pretty and personable Kara Scott, as Kaplan's new comedic foil- a professional poker player from London with over a half million dollars in career tournament earnings.  Scott will handle her hosting duties differently than her predecessor A.J. Benza, reporting from the High Stakes Poker Suite itself and interviewing the players about the game directly.

Some of the players during season six that Scott will have a chance to talk to will include Phil Ivey, Doyle Brunson, Tom "durrrr" Dwan, Antonio Esfandiari, Lex Veldhuis, Phil Hellmuth, Patrik Antonius, Sammy George, Eli Elezra, Dennis Phillips, Mike "The Mouth" Matusow and PokerRoad's Pappy Barry Greenstein.

Season Six of High Stakes Poker will premiere mid-February, 2010, on GSN.
