WSOP Circuit Event Underway in Atlantic City
March 14, 2022
The World Series of Poker Circuit Event at Caesar's Atlantic City has begun and already many big name pros have made their mark. Players like Hevad "RaiNKhan" Khan, Dan Hicks, Bernard Lee and Young Phan all survived the first day, which saw a stacked starting field of 277 players dwindle down to a mere 73. This impressive amount of entries set a record for the 2007-2008 season and created a total prize pool of $1,357,300, with a first place prize of $431,136. Many other pros like Cyndy Violette, Cliff "JohnnyBax" Josephy, Beth Shak, and Eric "E-Fro" Froehlich also came to Caesar's for a chance at the WSOP ring, only to be sent home early before the end of day 1 play.
