Day 2 In Cebu
November 13, 2021

When the survivors of the two Day Ones of the PokerStars Asia Pacific Poker Tour Cebu Main Event reconvened yesterday, 153 players still had a shot at a top prize worth nearly $160,000.  Throughout the day's play however, those eligible for that big score diminished greatly, leaving only 40 left to compete by the end of Day Two's play.

Among the notable players eliminated during Cebu's Day Two included Van Marcus, Raymond Wu and Tony Dunst.

With only 40 players left of a starting field of 319, all the remaining players are now guaranteed a part of the PHP 29,086,420 prize pool (about $620,000), thanks to Till Umbach, the last player eliminated during Day Two and the unfortunate bubble boy of the APPT Cebu.
