Day 2 At EPT Vilamoura
November 19, 2021

Day 2 of the PokerStars European Poker Tour Vilamoura main event, saw 177 players return to their seats in hopes of riding them all the way to the final table and a top prize worth EUR404,793, but as is always the case in tournament poker, a large percentage of them were eventually forced to stand up and walk out again, with only their plans for the next event to give them hope.

Over 100 players were eliminated during Day 2 in Portugal, leaving about 70 to continue on tomorrow, as the event finally reaches the all-important money bubble stage (48th place pays).

Among those survivors moving on still sits Rolf Slotboom, Johannes Strassmann, Ross Boatman, Andy Black and Jeff Sarwer, who once again- as he did after three days at EPT Warsaw- leads the field with over a half million in tournament chips.
