Things Are Getting Serious At EPT Vilamoura
November 20, 2021

After three days of play at the PokerStars European Poker Tour Vilamoura main event, only 24 players remain with a shot at the over half million dollar first prize.

Given the initial size of the starting field, that means almost 300 players have already been sent home, and of those only 24 received small portions of the EUR1,561,700 total prize pool- leaving the majority of the pool as yet unclaimed.

Players still in the hunt for a more sizable chunk of that EPT treasure include chip leader Antony Lellouche, Joao Barbosa and chess champ Jeff Sarwer, still sitting behind a formidable stack large enough to secure him second place on the overall leader board.
