Poland Prevents Its People From Playing PC Poker
November 24, 2021

Polish legislators, on the heels of a recent political scandal involving numerous top members of Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk's administration and gambling lobbyists, have decided to outlaw all forms of gambling outside of the country's few legal casinos.

This new law, which already passed through parliament and could be officially signed into law by the end of the month, will include every type of online gambling, leaving online poker rooms with some new empty seats they didn't have to deal with before.

Poland is just the most recent in a long list of countries to take steps to make it more difficult or impossible for their citizens to play online poker, a trend many in the industry must surely be concerned with.
