The Justin Shronk Memorial Tourney
December 1, 2021

This coming Sunday on Full Tilt Poker, many of PokerRoad's family, friends and fans will come together for a very special charity poker tournament, for a very personal cause.

The $5 + $5 buy-in, Justin Shronk Memorial Poker Tournament, has been created to commemorate PokerRoad's lost friend and comrade Justin Shronk, who died earlier this year from ongoing health issues.  The event will raise money for the Justin Shronk Memorial Fund at the Temple University School of Communications and Theater, an endowment which came together largely thanks to Shronk's many friends in the PokerRoad Forums

The fund is available to students from Temple- Shronk's alma mater- who may need a little help achieving their dreams of working in media and entertainment like he did, and is an ongoing opportunity for that campus' students, thanks to numerous generous past donations as well as future fund raising efforts like this Sunday's tournament.

The Justin Shronk Memorial Tourney, begins December 6th, at 6:00PM EST (18:00 server time) and is already available for registration.  Half of the total $10 buy-in will go to the Justin Shronk Memorial fund, with the rest going towards the actual prize pool for the event.  The tournament can be found under the "Private" tab in the "Tournaments" section in the Full Tilt Lobby and requires the Password "Justin Shronk" to enter (make sure to capitalize the J and the S and include the space).

For more information on this event check out the thread on the PokerRoad Forums.
