APPT Sydney Day 2 Shows The Route To 66
December 4, 2021

The second day of play at the PokerStars Asia Pacific Poker Tour Sydney Grand Final saw 226 players slashed all the way down to 66.

The day was ripe with casualties including Van Marcus, Jamie Pickering, Casey Kastle, Billy "The Croc" Argyros and Tony Dunst, leaving few well known pros still in contention by the time the day had concluded.  Some of the few who did survive include Eric Assadourian, Grant Levy and Jimmy Tran, currently second in chips behind only Tom Grigg.

With 66 left, only 18 more players need to be eliminated before the competitors finally reach the APPT Grand Final money, which should clearly make for an exciting Day 3 in Sydney.

To watch that action unfold, check out continual updates from PokerNews.com, or highlights and chip counts on the PokerStars blog.
