Neteller Plc recently released their earnings report for 2007, a report highlighted by a $185.7 million loss. Neteller, an online payment processor, had previously lead their industry but had a very difficult year in 2007, withdrawing from their primary market (the US) and being forced to settle with the US government to the tune of $136 million dollars. Neteller also accrued significant expenses while relocating their corporate headquarters from Canada, to their new home in the Isle of Man.

The report does show some positive growth for Neteller in 2007, in the European and the Asia Pacific regions for example; however, even substantial growth in these markets had no chance of pulling Neteller out of the red after such a surprising and devastating year.
