Day 4 At The Doyle's Brings Us To 16
December 18, 2021

Another day came to a close yesterday at the World Poker Tour Doyle Brunson Five Diamond World Poker Classic, with 20 more players sent packing, without even a sniff of the big money waiting at the final table.

Nine of the 36 players that started Day 4 went home completely empty handed, however the other eleven including Steve Brecher (25th), Antonio Esfandiari (23rd), Matt "AllinAt420" Stout (20th) and Amit Makhija (26th) at least can say they booked a WPT cash.

Most of those players collected around $30,000, a result which may seem disappointing until weighed against players like Toto Leonidas, Peter Gould and bubble boy Hasan Habib, who made it all the way to Day 4 only to be shut out from the cash altogether.

Even with eleven players taking pieces out of the overall prize pool, there is still over $4 million left unclaimed and waiting for the players still in the hunt to make their plays.  Some of those players include Faraz Jaka, John Juanda, Daniel Alaei, Josh Arieh and Scotty Nguyen.
