Final Table Set At WPT Doyle Brunson Five Diamond World Poker Classic
December 19, 2021

Day 5 at the last World Poker Tour event of the decade was a short one at the Bellagio, only needing to shed 10 players to reach the prestigious Doyle Brunson Five Diamond World Poker Classic final table.

Despite there only being six players remaining of a starting field of 329, numerous well known pros are still in contention including Josh Arieh, Daniel Alaei and the often controversial Scotty Nguyen, who along with his 5 WSOP bracelets- including the Main Event bracelet from 1998- already has 13 WPT cashes, 7 WPT final table appearances and a WPT title, making him one of the clear favorites even with so much talent still assembled.

The chip counts for the final 6 players of the WPT Doyle Brunson Five Diamond World Poker Classic are as follows:

Steve O'Dwyer- 1,050,000

Josh Arieh- 1,710,000

Shawn Buchanan- 2,800,000

Daniel Alaei- 3,925,000

Scotty Nguyen- 4,900,000

Faraz Jaka- 5,385,000
