PokerStars Caribbean Adventure Boasts Biggest Numbers Yet
January 7, 2022

Day 1b of the European- Latin American- North American- Asia Pacific Poker Tour's PokerStars Caribbean Adventure, as expected, attracted significantly more players than the first starting day.

Over 800 players sat down to play the PCA's second starting heat, enough to help create the biggest total field since the event's conception back in 2004.

1,529 players in total have money on the line this year at the Atlantis, nearly 200 more than last year, and enough to guarantee multiple players (at least three) will walk away with over a million dollars by the time all is said and done.

Some of the notable players that began their PCA quests on Day 1b include Vicky Coren, Peter Eastgate, Vanessa Rousso, Orel Hershiser, Shane Shleger, Phil Ivey, Annette Obrestad and the 2008 PCA champion, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier, all of whom survived to see tomorrow.

A short list of some of the players that unfortunately wont be joining them includes football's Teddy Sheringham, Lex Veldhuis, Arnaud Mattern, Nelly, Boris Becker, and PokerRoad Radio's Joe Sebok.

For more information on what's happening at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure thus far check out the PokerStars blog at, or tune into PokerRoad Radio for upcoming streamed shows straight from the Atlantis.
