Day 2 At The PCA
January 8, 2022

884 players sat down for Day 2 of the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure main event today at the beautiful Atlantis Resort, but by the end of play only about 33% of them would still have chips.

Around 275 people survived the difficult playing day including PokerRoad's Jeff Madsen, Phil Ivey, Huck Seed, Dennis Phillips, Justin Bonomo, Liz Lieu and Daniel Negreanu, but unfortunately the list of casualties is significantly larger.

A short list of players eliminated throughout the day's six levels includes Annette Obrestad, Humberto Brenes, Marcel Luske, Katja Thater, Barry "The Bear" Greenstein, and last year's champion Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier.

224 players will officially make the money during this year's PCA, meaning tomorrow the bubble will definitely pop and the final few hundred will begin earning larger and larger chunks of a record total prize pool worth $14,831,300.
