WSOPE Back On American TV
January 8, 2022

ESPN2, after a successful first year, will once again be bringing events from the most recent World Series of Poker Europe back to American viewing audiences.

The new series of shows, which are scheduled to start at the end of this month (Jan. 31st, 11PM ET), will begin with coverage of the inaugural Caesars Cup event, which at the time pitted some of the best poker players in North America against equally tough competition from around Europe, in a "Ryder Cup" style poker competition, attempting to discover which side of the pond had the most juice.

Some of the pros that competed in that event included Annette Obrestad, Daniel Negreanu, Phil Ivey, Doyle Brunson, Gus Hansen, Phil Hellmuth and Patrik Antonius.

Following that, WSOPE Main Event coverage is scheduled to begin Sunday, February 7th, at 10PM ET and should continue throughout the rest of February, with the last episode set to air February 28th (10PM ET).
