Final Table Set For PCA High Roller
January 14, 2022

Only eight players remain- of an intial 84- in the $25,000 buy-in PokerStars Caribbean Adventure High Roller event, each now with a real shot at earning the $576,240 top prize, to be handed out on Thursday.

Leading that pack is Germany's Tobias Reinkemeier, the only player currently sitting with more than 1,000,000 in tournament chips, followed by Uruguay's Adolfo Vaeza, Canada's Will Molson, Americans William Reynolds and Lisa Hamilon, the Netherlands' Michiel Brummelhuis, Canada's Matt Marafoti, and Russian Dimitry Stelmak, who is bringing up the rear with 150,000.

Although not completely bereft of known players, Thursday's final table does seem to be lacking many of the marquee names that were so abundant at the start of this prestigious event, a direct result really of a Day 3 that saw the end to many of the presumed crowd favorites.

Some of the players that cashed on Day 3 but were unable to make the final eight include Greg "Fossilman" Raymer (13th), Carter Phillips (12th), Isaac Baron (14th), Shawn Buchanan (15th) and 2009 World Series of Poker Main Event champion Joe Cada, who took 11th for a little over $50,000.
