The fourth annual UB Online Championship started strong Wednesday on the CEREUS poker network, with both of the first two events easily surpassing their posted guarantees.

Event #1, the $250,000 guarantee, No-Limit Hold 'em, Sniper tournament attracted an impressive 1,103 players and boasted a first prize worth over $65,000.  The total prize pool for the event was $297,810, enough to pay the top 108 places.

The eventual winner of the event was online player "KEEFKING420," earning $65,488.41 for their initial $320 entry.

Event #2, the $50,000 guarantee, 8-Game Mix tournament, attracted 386 players and ended up with a total prize pool worth $57,900.  This second, $162 buy-in event, was taken down by online player "CYBERCOW," who pocketed $15,633.00 for the victory.
