Aussie Millions Day 2
January 27, 2022

The first day of play at the Aussie Millions main event where all the survivors from the three Day Ones were finally brought together, began this afternoon (or last night US time) with 294 players, however by the end of play today, less than a third of that field would remain- about 83 altogether.

Some of the familiar names that can now be found on the Day 2 bust out list include Erick Lindgren, Tom "durrrr" Dwan, Lee Nelson, Jeff Lisandro, John Juanda, James Akenhead, Dan Harrington, Mark Vos and newly sponsored Party Poker Pro Tony G.

Survivors from the day included PokerRoad's Barry "The Bear" Greenstein, Gus Hansen, Marsha Waggoner, Howard Lederer, Annette Obrestad, Sorel Mizzi and Dan Shak- the recent winner of the $100k Challenge- currently sitting pretty with over 400,000 in tournament chips.

The top 72 places will make the money in this year's Aussie Millions main event, practically guaranteeing tomorrow's Day 3 (which starts this afternoon) will pop the money bubble and allow players to begin taking their shares of a total prize pool worth more than $7.4 million AUD.
