Down To 18 At Aussie Millions
January 28, 2022

Day 3 of the 2010 Aussie Millions in Melbourne, Australia, saw the remaining 83 person main event field shrink down even further to only 18.

Among the players cast off during the crucial bubble day were Howard Lederer and Barney Boatman, who were ultimately unable to make the money, and Andrew Feldman (24th- $50,000 AUD), Gus Hansen (23rd- $50,000 AUD) and PokerRoad's Barry Greenstein (50th- $20,000 AUD), who did make the cash, but certainly would have liked to have made a little more.

The day ended with Kosmas Dratsas as the obvious chip leader with 1,792,000 in tournament chips, followed closely by Annette "Annette_15" Obrestad (1,711,000) and Sorel Mizzi (1,695,000).

Dan Shak (1,144,000), the recent winner of the Aussie Millions 100K Challenge, is also still in the top ten and at this point is guaranteed at least another $75,000 AUD to go with the $1.2 million he won earlier in the week.
