PokerStars.com is planning to send over a 1,000 players to this year's World Series of Poker. The site has set up numerous qualifiers, freerolls, and special events, which they believe will be enough to easily accomplish this goal. Players on PokerStars can win a seat for as little as $2.00, in steps-based Sit-n-Go tournaments or for even less in special event freeroll tournaments.

PokerStars also hopes to offer additional awards their online players who win their way into the Main Event, by giving away bonus money to any qualifier that makes it all the way to the final table. Players that do so, will now not only have a shot at poker immortality, but will also have a chance at an extra million dollars provided by PokerStars, to go along with the already stacked first place prize.
