Madsen Still Rolling With 10 Left At The WPO
February 5, 2022

There are now only 10 players left at this year's Winter Poker Open (WPO), $3,500 buy-in main event, and PokerRoad's Jeff Madsen is still in the thick of things with over 3,185,000 in tournament chips.

Heading into tomorrow's final table fourth in chips, Madsen has a great opportunity to take down this year's WPO $625,006 first prize, particularly given the confidence which comes from a successful tournament run, as well numerous deep cashes over the last three months that total more than $160,000.

Of course before Jeff can cash that check, he has to get past nine other worthy adversaries including tournament pro Matt Matros and two players with over 4 million in chips.  One of those players, tournament rounder Sirous Jamshidi, currently leads the field with 4,750,000.

The current chip counts going into tomorrow's 2010 Winter Poker Open final table are as follows:

Sirous Jamshidi- 4,750,000

Al Grimes- 4,100,000

Nick Kamen- 3,320,000

Jeff Madsen- 3,185,000

Dave Fox- 1,695,000

Thomas Marchese- 1,623,000

Jonathan Hamilton- 1,555,000

Matthew Matros- 1,195,000

Ross Mallor- 880,000

Chan Pelton- 650,000

The final table of the 2010 Borgata Winter Poker Open begins tomorrow (2/5/10) at 11AM.  For more information or to keep tabs on the action, either visit www.borgatapoker.blogspot.com, or the PokerRoad Nation.
