Tunica Championship Event Starts Today
February 8, 2022

The World Series of Poker Circuit, Tunica, Mississippi stop is down to it's final event, and today (2/8/10) numerous top pros will put down $5,150 each, to compete in it.

Last year's Tunica Championship (1/20/09-2/4/09), attracted 154 total players and awarded a top prize worth $183,974 to Kai Landry, after he outlasted such top players as Kathy Liebert (19th), PokerRoad Radio's Gavin Smith (10th) and Matt "All In At 420" Stout (3rd).

This year's event is also expected to attract numerous big names, though if attendance numbers in the preliminary events compared to last year's are any indication, probably not quite as many.

For more information on the World Series of Poker Circuit Tunica Championship, visit www.wsop.com, or follow some of the players as they compete- including Gavin- by hanging out in the PokerRoad Nation.
