NAPT Venetian Stop To Feature $25K Bounty Shootout
February 8, 2022

The North American Poker Tour (NAPT), PokerStars' newest tour, has its first major event this month since the tour was introduced during the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (technically the first event of NAPT Season One) and already events are being added to the calendar to cater to the kind of high stakes players organizers hope to attract to this new major tour.

According to the PokerStars blog (www.pokerstarsblog.com), a $25,000 buy-in Shootout event has been added to take place during the ending days of the Venetian NAPT main event- which begins on February 20th.  This Shootout tournament, which is also a bounty event with a $5,000 bounty on every player competing, is set to begin on the 23rd of February and will feature an extra $100,000, provided by PokerStars, for the player who ends up with the most notches on their proverbial belt.

As if this structure wasn't already unique enough, the prize pool will apparently be divided in a non-standard way as well, with $50,000 going to each player who makes the final table, and all the rest of the prize pool going to the one single winner.
