Rumor Central: Full Tilt Pros Skipping NAPT
February 19, 2022

According to a recent article from Gary Wise of ESPN.com, there is a very real possibility that the numerous top pros sporting Full Tilt Poker sponsorships, will be no-shows at this weekend's North American Poker Tour (NAPT) Venetian stop.

NAPT is sponsored by PokerStars, which is apparently enough of a reason for the higher-ups at Full Tilt Poker to dissuade there pros from taking part, despite the fact that this event is likely to feature a very large prize pool and could potentially garner national attention, as it is being being filmed for broadcast on ESPN2.

This rumor, which seems to be fairly well supported not only through Wise's contacts but also through Pokerati's Dan Michalski's, should be either confirmed or debunked in just a few days, with Saturday's official start to the PokerStars NAPT Venentian main event.

To learn more about this still breaking story, tune into the most recent episode of PokerRoad's The Poker Beat featuring Scott Huff, BJ Nemeth, and both Wise and Michalski.
