Down To Three Tables At EPT Copenhagen
February 19, 2022

Day 3 of the PokerStars European Poker Tour Copenhagen event, saw 76 players reduced down to 24, as the tournament's money bubble slowly gave way.

As a result, 32 of the eliminated players earned minor chunks of the 14,212,800 DKK total prize pool, while still leaving well over $2 million for the remaining players as they return tomorrow to play down to the final table.

Some notable pros who were still alive at the start of the day, like Juha Helppi (65,000 DKK) and Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier (65,000 DKK), ended up having to settle for one of those minor prize pool portions, while others, like Annette "Annette_15" Obrestad, were unable to cash at all.

With Annette and ElkY now out of the picture, without a doubt much of the railbird attention is focused firmly on former World Series of Poker Main Event champion- and local boy makes good- Peter Eastgate, who with 726,000 in tournament chips is still in the top ten and in good shape, even if substantially behind the current chip leader Roberto Romanello (1,400,000 in chips).
