Final Table Set After Exciting WPT Celebrity Invitational Weekend
February 22, 2022

The World Poker Tour Celebrity Invitational at the Commerce Casino, this year took place before the LA Poker Classic main event, but that didn't stop a host of stars and top poker pros from once again showing up to compete in the annual fun filled event.

567 players competed over the weekend at the invitational, with many choosing to rebuy back in for $200, in order to support this year's charity, Chrysalis- a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping homeless in need find jobs.  To help that charity as much as possible, none of that rebuy money went into the prize pool, however there was still $200,000 in total cash up for grabs, for what is essentially a freeroll event for the many players lucky enough to be invited.

The list of celebrities that took advantage of that invitation was long, but some of the bigger names that have to be mentioned include Jenny McCarthy, Camryn Manheim, Teri Hatcher, Jerry Buss, Dick Van Patten, William Hung, Tia Carrere, Gina Hecht, Jennifer Tilly, Marlon Wayans and even two hosts from Poker2Nite, Joe Sebok and Scott Huff.

Of course the draw for many of these celebrities wasn't the $200,000 prize pool, or even the worthy charity, it was the opportunity to face off against some of poker's best players, and this year's invitational didn't disappoint in that department either.  Some of the top players competing along with President Sebok were Phil Laak, Todd Brunson, Eric Mizrachi, Marsha Waggoner, Prahlad Friedman, Roy Winston, Jeff Madsen, Erik Seidel and Thor Hansen, who made it all the way to the final table along with model and reality TV star, Trishelle Cannatella.

The final six players of the 2010 WPT Celebrity Invitational are as follows:

Sean Urban (2,090,000 in chips)

Neev Baram (1,900,000 in chips)

LeRon Washington (1,790,000 in chips)

Trishelle Cannatella (1,540,000 in chips)

Steve Elliott (1,520,000 in chips)

Thor Hansen (1,480,000 in chips)

With the Celebrity Invitational final table now set, players will have to wait until March 3rd to play things out, giving them first the opportunity to try their luck at the WPT LA Poker Classic main event, which begins this Friday (2/26).
