Anton Wigg Wins EPT Copenhagen

The PokerStars European Poker Tour Copenhagen main event concluded over the weekend, with Sweden's Anton Wigg claiming a top prize worth 3,75,000 DKK (or nearly $675,000 USD).

The 22 year-old Wigg, outlasted a total international field of 423 players to earn the EPT title, and survived a tough final table that was highlighted by a nearly 4 hour heads-up session between Wigg and Italy's Francesco de Vivo, who earned over $415,000 for the runner-up finish

The final table finish positions and payouts* for the 2010 PokerStars EPT Copenhagen main event were as follows:

1st.  Anton Wigg- 3,675,000

2nd.  Francesco de Vivo- 2,275,000

3rd.  Morten Klein- 1,400,000

4th.  Yorane Kerignard- 1,050,000

5th.  Richard Loth- 715,000

6th.  Roberto Romanello- 570,000

7th.  Morten Guldhammer- 425,000

8th.  Jesper Petersen- 282,800

9th.  Magnus Borg Hansen- 215,000

*All pay-outs represented in Denmark Kroners (10.00 DKK = $1.83 USD)
