Down To 24 In Berlin
March 5, 2022
What started as a whopping field of 945 total players at the PokerStars European Poker Tour Berlin main event, has been reduced all the way down to 24 and now only three tables remain between one person and a top prize worth €1,000,000 (about $1,360,000 USD).

The €4,725,000 total prize pool generated by those 945 entrants, was enough to ensure that all the 124 players to make it to yesterday’s Day 3 got some sort of financial compensation for their troubles (top 144 actually made the money), but the big cash has really yet to be seen, until tomorrow, when play continues down to the final table.

Some of the recognizable players still with a chance at scoring one of those big German checks include Joao Barbosa, Nico Behling, Jude Ainsworth, Stefan Huber and Theo Jorgensen, currently second on the overall leader board behind only Kevin MacPhee.
