Strassmann Surges During Second Day Of Snowfest
March 23, 2022
Day 2 of the PokerStars European Poker Tour Snowfest in the beautiful Austrian Alps, came to an end today with Germany’s Johannes Strassmann the clear chip leader and “the man to catch” as things move forward.

Strassmann, who already had four top ten EPT finishes to his credit before this event began, is well on his way to a fifth, currently sitting with over 740,000 in chips with only 86 players remaining of a starting group of 546.  Joining Strssman for Day 3 will be such other well respected international players as Alex Kravchenko, Ivo Donev, Lex Veldhuis and fellow German Nasr El Nasr.

Among the 173 players sent to the slopes as a result of Day 2’s carnage were such known names as Max Pescatori, Luca Pagano, Arnaud Mattern and Daniel Negreanu, who was eliminated midday despite building up a somewhat promising stack during Day 1A.
