Final Table Set At EPT Snowfest
March 25, 2022
The 546 players that entered the first ever PokerStars European Poker Tour Snowfest event have been whittled down to one single table; eight players each now within striking distance of a top prize worth €445,000 (or nearly $600,000 USD).

Among the eight remaining players are representatives from Germany, Romania, Canada, Austria, the Netherlands and two from the USA, but it’s Denmark’s Allan Baekke who leads them all, with 1,000,000 more in tournament chips than his nearest rival.

Baekke has had numerous deep cashes during his short tournament career, but nothing compared to PokerStars Pro Johannes Strassmann, who already has close to $1 million in tournament winnings and who will enter tomorrow’s final table with an above average stack worth 2,034,000.

The chip counts for the final eight players of the PokerStars EPT Snowfest in the Austrian Alps are as follows:

Allan Baekke- 4,688,000

Russell Carson- 3,463,000

Brent Wheeler- 3,096,000

Johannes Strassmann- 2,034,000

Jonathan Schroer- 972,000

Alain Medesan- 919,000

Lukas Baumann- 728,000

Daniel Van Kalkeren- 396,000
