High Stakes Poker Ratings Show Significant Growth
March 30, 2022
High Stakes Poker, the televised big buy-in cash game featuring many of poker’s top players, is currently only about halfway through their Sixth Season and yet GSN, the network that airs the popular program, is already reporting substantial growth in their ratings across many of their key demographics.

This season’s HSP has featured such well-liked pros as Phil Ivey, Tom “durrrr” Dwan, Patrik Antonius, Daniel Negreanu, Andrew “Good2cu” Robl and PokerRoad’s own Barry Greenstein, as well as the reporting talents of both Gabe Kaplan in the booth and Kara Scott on the floor, and though all of this may have contributed to this new boost in popularity, it’s difficult to know for certain which of these elements, if any, has had the biggest effect.

What is known for certain is something is definitely working, viewership for HSP among adults between the ages of 18-49 is up 27%.  The ratings are up 25% among adults ages 25-54 and are up a whopping 29% among men specifically, from that same group.  HSP continues to be one of GSN's highest rated shows.

New episodes of High Stakes Poker air Sundays at 8PM EST on GSN, for more information visit www.gsn.com.
