PokerStars Unveils New France Poker Series
April 6, 2022
PokerStars, the world’s largest online card room, on the eve of the Mohegan Sun stop of their new North American Poker Tour (NAPT), has announced yet another new live poker tour, this time in the capital of romance, France.

The new PokerStars France Poker Series (FPS), already has seven planned tournament stops beginning in the French Riviera’s Beaulieu-sur-Mer and winding it’s way around the country eventually landing in Paris for the Grand Final.

Most of the smaller tournament stops on the new FPS schedule will begin with reasonable buy-ins of €1,100+100 and player caps keeping the total number of players below 400, yet such limits wont prevent many PokerStars- and other- top pros from signing up to try the new tour, most likely including such proud Frenchmen as  Thomas Bichon, Arnaud Mattern and Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier.

Along with the FPS and the NAPT, PokerStars is also the presenting sponsor of the European Poker Tour (EPT), the Latin American Poker Tour (LAPT), the Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT), the UK & Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT), the Italian Poker Tour (IPT), the Australia New Zealand Poker Tour (ANZPT), the Czech-Slovak Poker Tour (CSPT), the Russian Poker Tour (RPT) and the earlier but now defunct Filipino Poker Tour (FPT)- which is perhaps why the France Poker Series isn’t called the seemingly more logical France Poker Tour (either that or FPT sounds a little too close to FTP).

For more information on the PokerStars France Poker Series visit www.francepokerseries.fr, or to compete in FPS satellites join PokerStars through PokerRoad (click here) and take advantage of a 100% sign up bonus, good for up to $600.
