European Poker Tour San Remo Again Plays Host To Large Field
April 15, 2022
San Remo, Italy, on the Mediterranean coast, is the setting for the most recent €5,000 + €300 buy-in, PokerStars European Poker Tour stop and along with being a beautiful location, historically this tournament rarely disappoints when it comes to attracting large fields and strong competition.  Day 1a of this year’s San Remo main event has- as of this writing- already concluded and if tomorrow’s Day 1b is at all similar to Day 1a, then it appears that trend of impressive fields has continued for at least another year.

585 players signed up for Day 1a of the EPT San Remo, including such big names as Isabelle Mercier, Luca Pagano, Arnaud Mattern, Frank Calo, Casey Kastle, Dario Minieri and Erica Schoenberg, each of whom survived their tables to move on to Day 2.

Other players who competed during the first day of EPT San Remo play, but were not quite as fortunate to survive it included David Steicke, Mike “Timex, McDonald, Chad Brown, Barny Boatman, Alex Kravchenko and Erick “E-Dog” Lindgren.
