With both Day Ones done at the PokerStars Australia New Zealand Poker Tour Sydney, the total prize pool, payouts and top prize, have been set.

446 players signed up to play in this year’s AUD $2,200 buy-in, ANZPT Sydney event, creating a total prize pool of AUD $892,000 (about $826,000 USD).  That amount of entrees allows for organizers to pay out the top 54 finishers, and to give out a top prize worth nearly AUD $220,000.

Among the notable players that survived their first day to still contend for that big money sit such names as Van Marcus, Tyron Krost, Lee Nelson and Tony Hachem, the man who appears to own this tour, seemingly scoring the big cash at will.
