Bwin Interactive Entertainment AG has released their preliminary fourth quarter earnings report, with some surprising results. Bwin saw increases in both gross and net gaming revenues in 2007, despite leaving the US market after the passing of the UIGEA. Bwin makes more than 50% of their profits through sports betting, and it was in this arena where Bwin really shined, showing an 18.8% growth in the fourth quarter. Poker revenues also increased (16.6%) but not to quite such an extent.

Bwin's official full-year results wont be published until next month; however, just through these early numbers one can see that Bwin Interactive Entertainment AG, has it's business right on track for 2008.
