PokerStars Spring Championship Of Online Poker Starts Sunday!
May 1, 2022
The Spring Championship Of Online Poker (SCOOP), one of the largest events on the PokerStars calendar behind only their World Championship Of Online Poker (WCOOP), begins again this weekend, with the first 2 of 38 scheduled events- or to be more precise the first 6 of 114, as each event in the SCOOP now features a low, medium and high buy-in version.

All of the events that make up the SCOOP once again have posted guarantees, this year promising to pay out at least $45,000,000 to competitors by May 16th.

Though all of this weekend’s SCOOP events happen to be No-Limit Hold ‘em, that should not give the impression that the 2010 PokerStars SCOOP lacks diversity.  Among the 38 tournaments in the 2 weeks that SCOOP will be taking center stage on PokerStars are events in Omaha, Razz, Badugi, Pot-Limit Omaha High/Low, 7-Card Stud and numerous mixed events with different combinations of all of the above.  Events will be run nine-handed, heads-up, short-handed, with rebuys, with bounties, and even with stacks deep enough to force some of the events to last multiple days.

Buy-ins during this year’s SCOOP will range from only $5.50 (low level for Event #3, 6-Max w/rebuys) all the way up to $25,500 (high level for Event #35, No-Limit Hold ‘em Heads-Up Match Play, 2-Day), with every imaginable price in between.

All SCOOP events can currently be found in orange in the PokerStars lobby, with the first event taking place this Sunday, May 2nd at 13:00 ET.  New players interested in playing in this year’s SCOOP, but not yet signed up with PokerStars, can sign up through PokerRoad by clicking here, and take advantage of a 100% first time deposit bonus worth up to $600.
