Antigua and Barbuda have been mired in legal battles with the US for over five years now, regarding what Antigua sees as unfair internet gambling practices. Recently, the World Trade Organization case was finally ruled on in Antigua's favor, awarding them an annual judgment of $21,000,000. Antigua won the right to obtain this money in numerous different ways, the most surprising of which was earning the right to reproduce copyrighted American goods. The thought of this has, understandably, sent shock waves through American film and music companies, putting real pressure on the US government to come up with a generous settlement offer before Antigua can take advantage of this unusual new right.
