The Ivey League $1 million Poker Invitational tournament is now just one week away from Saturday at the Aria Hotel and Casino, where invited players will have a chance at a $100,000 bounty just for knocking out poker legend Phil Ivey.

This impressive $100K bounty, is just one part of the $1 million dollar prize pool given away during this event, which also includes a $250,000 top prize for the player that lasts the longest with chips.

This tournament, which is open to- among others- select Aria casino players, was created to commemorate the naming of the card room after Ivey; a player who by all accounts certainly deserves the honor after earning close to $13 million playing live tournaments, 7 WSOP bracelets, and numerous major title and accolades.

Phil will now become a regular fixture in the new “Ivey Room" going forward, thanks to a recent agreement he signed with management, which almost certainly guarantees future No-Limit games there could get as high as $1,000/$2,000.
