Couldridge Could Do No Better At UKIPT Nottingham

The first ever PokerStars UK & Ireland Poker Tour Nottingham stop, concluded at the Dusk Till Dawn Casino recently, with the United Kingdom’s Andrew Couldridge claiming the £80,000 top prize (around $116,000 USD).

Couldridge outlasted a near record setting field of 650 entrants to earn the cash, trophy, and free entry into the £5,300 buy-in, European Poker Tour London Grand Final, later this fall, surpassing numerous well known pros along the way.

The Runner-up prize of £46,700, went to Oliver Schaffman, a fellow UK player and just one more of the 6 that populated the top 9 paying spots, in this Limy loaded UKIPT event.

The final table finish positions for the PokerStars UKIPT Nottingham main event were as follows:

1st.  Andrew Couldridge- £80,000 + £5,300 package to EPT London Grand Final

2nd.  Oliver Schaffmann- £46,700

3rd.  Andros Spyrou- £30,000

4th.  Owen Robinson- £21,400

5th.  Graham Giles- £16,500

6th.  Piotr Majewski- £13,200

7th.  Nicholas Gavriel- £9,900

8th.  Gareth Walker- £7,600
