APPT Macau Drops To 44
May 21, 2022
Day 2 has been completed at the PokerStars Asia Pacific Poker Tour Macau main event, and only 44 players remain still battling for a top prize worth over $415,000 US.

The Macau field lost 116 players altogether during the significant Day 2 including a large chunk of the notable players that had survived their starting flights such as Tony Hachem, Eric Assadourian, Nam Le, Raymond Wu and David Steicke, who seemingly had as bad a Day 2, as his Day 1 was good.

Not many marquee names survived the Day 2 carnage- or even recognizable names for that matter- however one notable exception, Marcel Luske, is still alive, though slightly short stacked at this point with under 100,000 in tournament chips, and in need of a serious momentum shift when Day 3 kicks off tomorrow.
