Montel Williams, fresh off his highly successful MS Foundation Gala & Pro-Celebrity Poker Challenge, has been invited to join Team USA in the third annual PartyPoker Nations Cup. Team USA is one of 6 teams competing in this year's event, with high hopes of avenging last year's disappointing 2nd place finish. Each team in the event is made up of five top poker professionals along with one PartyPoker.com VIP online qualifier. However, since Americans are not allowed to play on PartyPoker.com, Williams was given the unique opportunity to fill out the US roster. Ironically perhaps, this makes Montel one of the only poker players in the country to actually benefit from the UIGEA.

Montel Williams is joining an incredibly diverse team of professional players including; Chris "Jesus" Ferguson, Chad Brown, Jaime Gold, Freddy Deeb, and team captain Robert Williamson III. This distinguished group has high hopes of bringing the Nations Cup home to America, along with the $100,000 that goes with it.
